Mizuki slander
I literally never understood the hype around him, sure he may be pretty and goofy but he's got a huge fandom for someone with such a shit personality.
-Literally tried to s/a nanami, simply because he could and he even kissed her w/o her consent to make himself her familiar while she was passed out (we can let that one slide though, because he was just trying to save her).
-Looks down on both yokai and humans, because he was born from an egg given to the water goddess Yonomori Mitsuha (his first lady before nanami) by the creator god Ōkuninushi. This apparently gives him a much more divine status in comparison with other lowly wild spirits like tomoe.
-In the beach episode (S1,ep 8), he slut shames all the women present on the beach for wearing bikinis, swim dresses,etc and says that men cannot be blamed for acting up on their desires, when these shameless women will prance around in such outfits. (gosh I hate him smm). •When nanami went to that double date/mixer with kei (S, ep 10), he expressed his disdain towards her and the girls for seeking out relationships/friendships with men and going out at night.
Due to the whole "there's a man" trend on tik tok I was thinking about all such characters and people were bringing up yamato and usui but no one mentioned him and that'd why I thought about writing this down. I had always felt this way about him ever since I had watched the anime back then, though I'll admit that after reading the manga I started hating him less but people preferring him over tomoe and kurama shall always be beyond me.
P.s:- His behaviour with unari, she lowkey deserves better than a nanami glazer.
