i dont even know if admission is valid here but here we go.

so i need the hod of the dept of iitr’s signature in a document and need to submit it else i wouldnt be getting accommodation and i have been circling the dept since yesterday afternoon(right after my train reached roorkee) and the hod hasnt arrived in the dept yet like he didnt visit the department even once. i spoke to the office multiple times theyre like they cannot help since they cannot call the hod or something. my parents will be leaving today and i cannot get an accommodation unless and until he signs the doc. WHAT SHOULD I DO? SHOULD I MAIL THE HOD OR FUCKING CALL HIS OFFICE NUMBER GIVEN IN THE WEBSITE IM SO FUCKING DONE.

a little background info about me: i am 20f, from a gen 2 iit, non circuital background. i finished my sophomore year and rn summer break is going on. i wanna be an sde and therefore have been grinding leetcode, done 450ish questions with 250+medium, 25ish hard and rest easy. im currently following striver although i started striver pretty late. my seniors also told me to do cs fundamentals, so rn focusing on dbms. have decent mern knowledge, can build basic crud apps, still polishing skills.
NOW MY QUESTION IS ABOUT SYSTEM DESIGN.
how much of system design will i need to crack my first internship/job? i am obviously eyeing on canpus placements, but lets talk about both off campus and on campus scenarios. <3🥹

So we have been asked for 4 documents, namely, Performa for accommodation (was attached with the mail), student id card, noc and permission for internship. now i have the rest but the permission for internship is basically a doc to be signed by the prof whom ill be working under. my prof asked me to provide him a format to sign and he will provide the signature. is anyone aware of the format or anything?

i, 20f will be arriving on 21st may. my mom and mama are gonna show up too for the sake of dropping me. soo where can i get accommodation for them for a day? (make it cheap travel mei already 10+ k chale gaye).
