Bees Knees Shrinkage

Bees Knees Shrinkage

I am just wondering if anyone else has issues specifically with the Bees Knees formula and shrinkage? I have been using cuticulas limitless quick dry top coat and I feel like they are maybe just incompatible. This is the second shimmer/metallic I’ve used from BKL that ended up this way and I’m going insane. I NEVER have this issue with any other polish. I have quite an established routine for preventing shrinkage and can make a manicure go 7-10 days.

I may try another top coat, maybe holo taco, I have plenty of other top coats to try but was curious if it’s just me.

Nail Progress

One year between the photos; never thought I could have long nails like this. I was a lifelong biter until Covid but even when I first stopped, I didn’t oil/care for them so figured I just had weak nails/couldn’t grow them out which was FALSE!! Just needed some TLC! I make my own oil blend with jojoba, apricot oil, avocado oil, and almond oil, vitamin e oil. Lots of lotion of course and I also have little nail kits I created for work/at home that contain my assorted products, a glass nail file/clippers, and my oil.

Also, gloves in shower everytime. I even glove up when doing my skincare routine/washing my face. Hands only get wet when washing them at work and other various public places!

Alright. I bought this months ago and have been majorly over thinking it. It’s not hard, but boy it sure is a pain in the ass doing each nail one by one 😂

I held the magnet at different angles but the horizontal stripes are my favorite.

I bought this polish because I loved the new GDT Frankenstein movie and wanted to own a few from the collection so figured it was a great time to start learning about magnets/magnetic polish. I can’t see myself doing this all the time but it is fun once in a while! I don’t really love how the polish looks un-magnetized unfortunately.
