i‘m in love with scandalous red.

i‘m sure it‘s a phase and i will eventually circle back around to other colours, but it‘s been a few months of just wearing reds now and i keep buying more red polishes. someone stop me, seriously.

tonight on my left hand a battle of 4 magnetic reds.

pinky: ILNP poison ring and thumb: Emily de Molly fiery attraction middle: Holo Taco sacrificial lacquer pointer: Starrily arcana

all: Holo Taco long lasting base and glossy taco

winner for me: Emily de Molly, my god she‘s fiery and attractive indeed

loser, sadly today: Holo Taco, i swear this one magnetized better for me last year, maybe it‘s gone off. their first generation of magnetics is known for being difficult so it‘s probably that. i still adore the red tone though, so i‘ll get use out of it. just won‘t bother magnetizing.

all were magnetized with a rectangular magnet for one minute for each coat and top coat too. two coats of colour on all.

pardon the cuticles. also sorry for the short nails, i work verrry hands-on so short is my only option. tonight i decided i wouldn‘t let this stop me from posting.

Hi, This is my first mani in quite a while. Regular polish 1 coat and a thick layer of top coat. I wanted to just practice the absolute basics.

Red polish: NHC nail polish; Color Cosmetic number 158.

Topcoat is Luodanqi QDTC; number 11.

First pic is now my attractive/photogenic hand, the right. Left always used to be my winner 😪, so picture taking was easy. Now it's like a cat with socks to get a good photograph of my right hand, so awkward.

The rest of the pics are left hand. Ring finger was injured and the nail is now bumpy 😖 The rest of the hand, I dunno. It's not up to par and just generally I need help.

Is there anywhere I could improve? Any tricks to make things look more ... polished? 🤭 Are side walls OK? The shaping? Am I going too close to the p fold? They just don't look great.

Is it really autumn if I don't whip out Navni (not Nanvi, sorry I can't wait the title) "undead"?? 🧟‍♀️🍂🎃🍁 Had a hard time capturing the pinky/coppery shift because it's a bit gloomy outside but GOOD GRIEF this is one of my favorite aurumnal polishes 😍💅🏽✨I think I've had it 6 (?) or so years and I always fall back on it. Share your favorite grungy Autumnal polishes please!! I need recommendations

This is one of my all time favorite shades and they changed the formula a couple of years ago aka it’s completely different now. I am sad.

I have Merkitten from Moon Cat and it’s not quite right.

One of my fav polishes I've bought recently from mooncat, in the shade "am I everything you fear?"

It's a deep teal base with a multichrome shimmer and sparse holo glitters throughout. I love how different it looks in every angle, and I simply cannot get enough of it!

The colours look so delicious 🤤🤣 I know I'm weird but I always thought the Queen's poisoned apple looked good!

Nail tech did an excellent job.

I got my nails done 2 weeks ago and I loved the color. I can’t remember the name of the polish!! :( it’s definitely OPI. It had the word sand in it!

This polish sold out in 30 seconds after the shop opened! So fomo, so hard. Just seeing if anyone has this. My budget is flexible. Lmk! :)

The wait, the patience, the effort we put into geeting our nails done is commendable. Isnt it girls.?

The prompt was silver and grey Halloween with bats and a haunted house. Everything else was my prerogative! Some of the white and black elements have glow in the dark that you can’t see on the video.

I’ve only been doing my own nails after too many mistakes from my local salon and them never being able to meet the design heights I always imagined. I spent my yearly manicure budget on a home setup and supplies, and this is my 3rd time doing a full set on myself. Every time I do them, I get better, make mistakes and learn new techniques. This includes doing too many layers on the pointers and having to manually file most of them off to get them the way I wanted, but it’s been meditative to have a few hours of disappearing into painting while my 6 month old sleeps. Running into a friend, she admonished me for not taking photos of my last set, so I’m posting them here as record for myself more then anything, but comments and critiques are welcome

Polishes used are HT so toxic, black hole wish. Wet n wild buffy the violet slayer, white and seche vite top coat.
