What’re some brands that I should lean towards?? Not making a race truck just trying to get somethin good with longevity.

I am currently a Step 2 hot apprentice working for a contractor in Wyoming. I want to go chase those big hurricane storm calls at the end of summer / early fall but don’t know how or if it’s even possible since I live in Wyoming & am not apart of the union (there isn’t one). Also not even sure if anyone would be willing to take a chance on an apprentice to go across the country for a few week storm call, hot or not. I may just have to wait until I journey out but would prefer not to. If anyone could guide me in a direction I would be extremely grateful!
