Lb7 crank no start

03 lb7 Duramax, motor has been rebuilt around 14-15 years ago so it has about 150-170k on it. It’s sat for about 9 months at the moment, any reason or signs it won’t start? It mainly sat through the winter and now this spring and summer. Does the same cranking as it did in this video as of now.

2026 2500 Ultimate 37x11.50r20

Figured I’d throw this in here so it helps anyone else. Had a ton of help from the Reddit community on this.

2026 SIERRA 2500 Denali Ultimate
-Cognito Torsion Keys
-Fox 2.0 PSSRs
-Kryptonite UCA’s
-Rough Country mudflap delete kit on Amazon
-Nitto Ridge Grapplers 37x11.50r20

Note; we installed the Cognito PISK kit but it caused binding in the steering and so we uninstalled it and went right back to factory feeling.

Note; we didn’t need to cut off the bump stop in the front either, there’s plenty of room with Kryptonites UCA’s that cutting it isn’t needed.

Using the factory wheels with that Tire there’s absolutely zero rubbing whatsoever on the frame or the sway bar. No trimming of the front valence either. All that had to happen was hammer in the front felt just a little bit, looked like two good whacks and it was done.

So if anyone else is trying to run this combo just know you can run 37x11.50s with zero rubbing whatsoever. The truck rides incredible now, super plush with the fox shocks. Tires I’m running em at 60PSI. Couldn’t be happier.

LML loss of prime after cp3

I just had the cp3 conversion done on my 2016 Duramax and now when I park on an incline it loses prime. I took it back to the shop and they can’t find a problem but want to charge me $1600 to put a fade on it and hope that fixes it. I know the filter housing is a common issue on these but my hold up is it always started fine before I had them do the conversion and now it’s everytime I park it on a hill facing up it does it. They pressurized the tank and claim they could find no leaks or anything so they claim no fault. I just don’t really want to throw $1600 on it a week after spending $5000 on it for a problem that wasn’t previously there

Got a guy I’m trying to help out he had a clogged DPF he wants to delete it so I said okay. I got all codes cleared and it to perform a stationary regen truck passed. However I’m still getting a service emission system acrossed the dash but no CEL. There are permanent codes in the ecm. If anyone has some insight on where to go from here

Wheel size’s

Just got my 2017 L5P wondering what wheel sizes I can run on stock height. It already sits perfect for the height I want it at. But would love to put some 22x12-14or if I can 24x12. If not what leveling kit or lift you guys recommend. I’ve been eyeing the kryptonite kits. But don’t want go any higher then it already is.

Lift pump options

I am looking at purchasing a lift pump for my 2007 Chevy 3500 dually LBZ. I don't know if should go with something crazy from Fass or if a Kennedy would be fine. I'd love pros and cons from y'all's lift pump setups and experiences.

'18 L5P smoking, rail pressure.

Alright, I need some assistance. 🙄.

2018 2500 w/t. Picked up with a smoking issue and fuel issue. Supposedly had a turbo swapped from another L5P. And was T&D prior to my purchase and "is a 60hp tow tune".

I have chased down a low rail pressure issue for two weeks now. I'm getting heavy smoke on acceleration, vein position shows 73% at idle and doesn't fluctuate more than 10-15% when driving.

Sometimes rail pressure will stay with desired for a little bit but drops down substantially at random and stays low. Picture of my parts list so far. Had a highly recommended local diesel tech here in Murfreesboro TN come by and diag to which he said all pointed to MAP sensor but that changed nothing. He also did a vein relearn and crank position relearn he said. I'm not losing coolant, and CCV reroute will be here this week. Any help appreciated, I need to tow with this truck next weekend.

Looking for advice

Hello everyone, I am looking to buy my first Duramax 2500 here in the next month or two. I sold my old truck, a gas 1500, before I deployed and am headed back soonish.

I’m looking at a truck to last for a long time, most bang for my buck. I’ve always been told a diesel engine will run forever and the Allison transmission is top tier, so with that is the 2500 diesel choice.

My question is what should I be looking for in a good used truck? My budget is about 50k give or take a bit. We have been looking on Carvana and they have some nice trucks but I since this is my first diesel I don’t know what good signs to look for to know I’m getting a good deal on the truck.

Any advice or pointers are much appreciated! Or if you know of a good place to buy other than Carvana!

Thanks y’all!

Baby Max with S&B Intake

Anyone installed a S&B intake on their 3L duramax? Have a baby max in my suburban was was mulling some options to change the sound a bit. Exhaust changes just don’t add up given DEF. But was mulling a cold air intake. Some of the vids I’ve seen make the turbo sound rice rockety-not the plan.

Def injector coolant lines?(delete)

I’m in the middle of my delete and I’m taking the factory down pipe off. What do I do with the two coolant lines going into the def injector. Nothing in my kit to block them or loop them?

2006 LBZ coolant issues

Hello, I purchased an LBZ with 200k on the dash. Drove great. Until it didn’t, low coolant light came on and now I can’t keep the resivoir full. I’m talking, fill it all the way full, drive 5 miles and it’s empty. Truck is hood dumped, so i’d see the coolant “splash” on the windshield if it was burning it. No white smoke, or smells. truck gained the smallest ammount of blowby since i noticed the coolant loss. Not sure if it has anything to do with it, but the PCV re route “mists” pretty bad too, but it doesn’t have a smell. Oil on the dipstick is not milky, truck runs and starts up fine you’d never be able to tell until the coolant gets low and it starts over heating. I’m kinda lost, and trying to create a list of things it could be. Thank you for any insight you can give.

Lml reliability

Looking at buying this 2013 3500 chevy, there asking 17k with it having 198k miles, has the def deleted but needs a tune to get it out of limp mode which I'm trying to see if the dealership will do. But is the lml a good motor aside from the cp4 pumps. What's yalls opinion on the lml and this deal?

39k mile LBZ, EGR delete discussion

Ive posted this truck here before, but 39k mile LBZ, Im wondering if I can get away with a full EGR delete without a tuner, I can fabricate every part I need myself including a DIY High flow kit from scratch, my issue is Tuners/Tunes are expensive and I dont want to tune it Until I do compounds and even then I dont want a high horse tune. But im really not trying to pay for tunes twice But im also not trying to use it with Intact EGR much longer for obvious reasons. What would you folk do?
