Looking for advice on exhaust butterfly valve bypass

2023 T&D

Initially did a 5” straight pipe but my family hated the drone and I wasn’t a big fan on highway trips.
Got a muffler installed, all is well.

Now admittedly I miss the straight pipe sound and would love a muffler bypass line welded in, with a bypass butterfly valve.

Is this easily accomplished? Should I just use a mechanical valve instead? Or would the exhaust shop look at me like I’m an idiot?

Thank you!

Basement radon is high. Who did your install and how did it go?

Looking for recommendations for radon installers. New build here in Hearthstone. Definitely in the moderate to high range.

Residential driveway was poured but the base has separated due to recent rain.

I suspect the compaction job was poor and the dirt quality was low.

What do you guys think?

Judge my nuclear setup and make me feel bad. Eats 1500 dark matter/min when running at max. 200,000 MW currently.

At what point is it acceptable to say they filled my driveway in with poor quality infill, and it needs to be redone with more gravel and less dirt?

Me again. Last time I posted here, it was suggested to let it dry, and go ahead with the pour. I just can’t wrap my head around that. This doesn’t seem right.

Rained 10cm over the last few days. They were supposed to be pouring a driveway but got rained out. Every house on this street is doing this, and I’m concerned that not only did they use shit quality fill, but whatever driveway they put on this is going to sag/break in 5 years.

Is this how a properly prepped concrete pad is supposed to react to 10 cm of rain???

Driveway prep started, it then rained 100 mm. Does this need to be re-packed? It’s a soupy mess.

Air conditioner cycling short cycles

Wonder why this is a thing?? Above setpoint but still cycling on-off

Why does my ecobee fluctuate so much when the fan or AC runs? A second thermostat 6 feet away proves this temperature reading is inaccurate.

First picture is the main floor thermostat. Everything works including AC.

Second picture is upstairs thermostat. Notice that ACC+ and ACC- are not hooked up.

When I call for AC on the upstairs unit, the compressor doesn’t turn on. The fans kick on but that’s it.
Is this the correct wiring??

Thank you.
