WIX Auto-Renewal Help!

Wix recently charged an unauthorized auto-renewal to my account. I have raised this with Wix and with my bank whose card the purchase was made on. Just got off the phone with a Wix customer care agent who said they have raised the claim with their team who will let me know in a few days whether the refund has been approved.

I saw on Reddit that you can get around their refund policy by changing to a cheaper plan, accepting the refunded difference and then cancelling the cheaper plan immediately. Because it is technically a new plan, you should be refunded as per the 14-day refund policy on new plans.

Reading through a few posts about this, I am anxious about whether my initial refund on the auto-renewal plan will be approved. Should I wait for Wix to get back to me about the auto-renewal refund, or is the change and cancel method a more reliable way to get your money back?

All help appreciated!

Adopting a greyhound while living abroad?

I'm Canadian and have been living abroad in the UK for the past three years with my partner and cat. All three of us (cat included) are from Canada and plan to move back home in the next couple of years. I've always wanted to adopt a dog, and since living here have become convinced that a greyhound will be the perfect fit for our little family. There is a specific local rescue I have in mind as they seem to be incredible at matching rescues with new homes and can help support finding the right fit for my cat as well.

My question is, seeing as I plan to move home in the next few years, is this the wrong time to rescue? I brought my cat over to the UK on a flight and am familiar with navigating the complexities (and price) of international travel with pets. According to my research, travelling from the UK to Canada is a bit simpler than the other way around, which is encouraging. I started researching rescues in Canada as well, to feel out what it would look like to rescue after moving. It seems like a lot of the rescues in Canada are from the UK, and would need to do the flight anyways to arrive in Canada.

Mostly, I am concerned that arriving at a new home and moving cross-seas within a few years might be a lot for an ex-racing dog. I am still learning about how their needs differ from other rescues, and want to make sure I am providing my greyhound a lovely comfortable retirement. I have considered lifestyle changes between both places and am confident I can provide consistent care and enrichment before and after the move!

TL;DR: Canadian living abroad in UK keen to rescue a greyhound and wondering whether now is the right time seeing as I will likely be moving back to Canada in the next few years.

TIA!
