Munchies.
I’ve been taking Quetiapine most of my adult life. I currently take 300mg IR.
When them munchies hit, (especially at night). They hit hard. After a bit of trial and error, I’ve found out one thing that works for me and that’s anything with protein in it. Rice pudding with protein especially. It’s sweet, it’s heavy and it fills me up. I buy it from the Supermarket.
Discovering this has helped me stop munching through the night-especially if I wake up in the early hours. Sometimes I have 1 tub, sometimes I have 2.
I wish the Doctors would have told me about this years ago! It would have saved a lot of frustration.
Now, some brands of protein products taste horrible to me but like I said, with some trial and error, I’ve found the ones I like.
I thought I’d share what works for me because it might help someone else who thinks they’ve tried everything.
