when people sacrifice to false gods how are their wishes fulfilled?

Hello, this is a question I’ve had for a very long time, especially since the Epstein Files came out. People are talking about how all the celebrities are sacrificing children to gods for fame, or people sell their souls to get rich.

In the Bible it says that the gods the Amalekites and Ammonites worshiped were false gods that they created. Baal worship is what everyone says these celebrities were doing, but since Baal isn’t real how are they able to get money, fame and power?

Is it that these false gods are under Satan and basically are allowed to operate like demons (under God’s control and permission) to those who invite them into their lives?

I’d really like to keep looking into this if anyone also has videos or books to recommend to me!

eng 124 with megan carlson?

can anyone share their experiences taking 124 or with a class with professor carlson? i looked through her syllabus and it seems to be a lot of writing (8-10 pages for a final) and i was wondering if this a manageable class (i’m at ross) and whether it’d be hard.

i’m not opposed to working hard but i don’t want to struggle in English on top of my math class

ross summer connection program questions

I’m participating in the program this summer, but our Q&A session is going to be the week before we leave and I was just wondering if any other people have participated in the program and what we could expect. I’m coming from out of state on the East Coast. I really just had two main questions:

are you required to bring your own bedding and sheets?
Will they let us out to go buy stuff like soap and lotion at the stores on State Street or should we bring stuff like that with us? (also wondering if this is applicable to bedding and sheets.)

and any advice or tips from people who came out of state from a far distance on how to best navigate it?

thank you!

is this going to turn out good? i’d rather cut my losses and start over if it isn’t

Major over thinker here. This is where I am so far in my cap decorating and was wondering if anyone had opinions on whether it’ll turn out good. I wanted the background to be white compared to the indoor pic but it’s looking more silver. Idk I may be completely wrong!

what color rhinestones would you say are used on this cap?

hi everyone! i’m trying to rhinestone my grad cap and i already ordered a blue color for the m.

would a topaz be best for the yellow?

and what color would you recommend for the background? i’d like something that’s very close/completely white like in this picture but i’m not sure which is the best match.

thank you!!
