Walkabout rip-off?
Was just listening to Karate’s 2002 album Some Boots and the track Airport comes on and I got hit by a familiar lick.
Am I nuts, anyone hear it?

The Scornful Four - Hopeful Music for Hopeless People [original analogue jazz from Australia]
Sharing some music from my hometown of Brisbane, Australia. These guys are inspired by Ornette Coleman, Gerry Mulligan, and Sandy Evans.
At first I found the album a little sparse with not a lot going on. But on repeat listens there’s some magic happening with the horn interplay and the drummer is dancing man!

Aaron Jansz - drums
All original compositions by A. Garton and recorded and pressed in Brisbane.
The album is quite reflective and poignant with a few rambunctious passages. Perfect early morning coffee and book reading music if you ask me.
