Anyone want to adopt a chicken?

Hi there! We have had our two hens for three years, they were best friends. We live in Lewiston so can’t keep many chickens. One of our girls always had issues laying, broken eggs, soft shells even with supplementation. She unfortunately passed away yesterday leaving our one girl all alone. As chickens are flock animals they shouldn’t be kept as a single. We went to get another chicken for her yesterday but anywhere around is looking for a 3 chicken minimum which is beyond what we can house in our coop and more poop than our backyard can handle. We are hoping someone with chickens would like to take her in so she isn’t so lonely. She’s 3, a good egg layer, she is use to free ranging and our fenced in backyard and has been around kids; cats, and a chicken fearing dog. She’s been well loved but we don’t feel like it’s right to keep her alone.

Edit to add: her name is Ted - her bestie Bill passed away.

Peeling/flaking skin on lip intermittently but now not clearing up

Female, 39, 145lbs - take adderall for ADHD. I have this circle patch of skin on my lip that won’t seem to go away anymore. The skin occasionally peels off once or twice a week in this little circle. It has popped up a few times in the last year or two but it seems to be staying at this point. Almost like a chapped section but just in a circle. I mentioned it at a routine dr’s appt and he told me it was a cold sore (it’s not). It’s been there for months now. I have been tested for autoimmune psoriasis which came back negative. I also have flaking skin inside my ear canal and occasionally at the back of my neck in my hair. Previous doctor had prescribed me a few things for dandruff which never helped, ketoconazole shampoos or something at increasingly stronger doses. The ears are sometimes itchy and I do pick pieces of flaking skin out of them a few times a week. I have been referred to a dermatologist but waiting it’s at least a year for an appointment around here. I tried to take a good picture but the skin peeled off in this circle this morning. The little section is probably the size of a pomegranate aril? I don’t know that other people notice it but I can feel it all the time and it’s driving me crazy. I’ve never been diagnosed with anything for it and no one seems to care when I try to address it with doctors.
