Sadly didn’t enjoy putting this together as much as I like the image! I think I prefer crisper lines with artwork. I was also hoping for more interesting shapes with the random cut. Are these shapes pretty common for the brand?
Hi all, I’ve purchased from Uke Republic and Mim’s and had good experiences, but I’m specifically looking to buy a Flight Victoria or Sophia (I don’t like abalone so not considering the Diana). I’m seeing that Aloha City Ukes tends to carry these, but I’ve read mixed reviews about their set up. Can anyone ease my mind that they are okay to order from? Or is there another site that stocks flights and has a good set up? I just don’t see what I’m looking for at Mim’s, uke republic, or the ukulele site. And I’m in the USA and am hesitant about the shipping and tariffs with southern Uke in the UK.
I’m debating between purchasing Hal Leonard 6th edition Real Book (which I’ve been borrowing from my ukulele instructor who is a primary a guitarist otherwise), or Chuck Sher’s the Standards Real Book. Anyone have any experience with them and which is better for uke?
