I am looking for advice on how to obtain proper insurance for recreational drone flying for a US Citizen traveling to Europe. My drone is a DJI Flip (249g) and I do not have section 107 certification.
What I do have is training and certification for piloting a drone in A1/A3 airspace in Europe and I have already registered my drones with EASA.
As this is a topic discussed before I have already tried a few routes to get insurance and here is what I have learned:
- Coverdrone will not insure US Citizens
- Skywatch will not insure anyone without section 107 certification
- State farm does not offer liability insurance for drones
I wanna play by the rules and so, does anyone have suggestions on companies that will insure me?
