I currently work in acute care PRN and average 38-40 hours a week. I am lucky enough to get benefits at my job and am happy there! I am young, have an open schedule, and don’t have children yet so I am interested in picking up another 5ish hours a week. The only catch is I’d like to be able to work from home. Acute care, specifically in the ICU at a level 1 trauma center, is physically exhausting and I would like to do something that is from the comfort of my home with my dog.

Does anyone have any input as to where I could go with this? I am 2 years into practice and still feel like there are so many sects of OT that I don’t know about. TIA!

Apologies if I don’t sound like I know what I’m talking about, because i really don’t. My girlfriend loves fishing and I have been trying to get into it so we can go together. I’d love to plan a date where we can have a picnic in the back of her new truck she just got and fish from it as well. Are there any spots around RVA that would be able to accommodate this? Typically we hike in a bit so I’m not sure of anywhere we could just back the truck up to.

I’m looking to take my dog biking with me and have had a hard time finding a pack that fits a whippet well! Currently considering the K9 sport sack air 2. Does anyone have any other recommendations?
