Help I’m new here! Gifted a collection and I know nothing.
I have been gifted a beautiful collection of pink glass! From my google searches, I believe it’s mostly depression era, but also may include some reproductions? It’s so beautiful, I’m scared to use any of it. But I don’t want it to just sit in my closet!
I’m coming to you guys with questions:
- Should I use it, or do you suggest display only?
- Any suggestions or advice on ways to display if that’s the case? (I’d love the see photos of your own collections as inspo!)
- I’m assuming it’s best to hand wash?
- Any knowledgeable folks out there able to tell me more about the history of any of these patterns?
TLDR; I love each piece, but what do I DO with it all? I don’t want to ruin it, but I don’t want it to sit in a box and collect dust. Help!
