I am a homeowner and I got installed R32 mini split of 1.5 tonnes(18000BTU) capacity. There is 20m(65ft) of copper lineset between indoor evaporator and outdoor condenser units. Brochure for this particular air conditioner mentions that it is precharged with 880gms of R32 for up to 5m line set and it needs 15gms/m of R32 for every meter of line set added.

I used it first night and it is not cooling up to expectations.

So I am almost certain that the technician might not have added the extra R32 needed. How much will it affect cooling as it will be roughly 15% short of required R32? Can I use it for a few days until the R32 is topped up?

Am I correct and if yes then is it a simple case of R32 to be topped up by a technician?
