We have Spanish and Italian roots and a Spanish last name, so I’d like the middle name to fit that style.

I have two names picked out for my daughter that I absolutely love, and I just can’t decide which one to choose:
• Lila Aurelia
• Rosalina Sofia
We have a Spanish surname that starts with M. We live in Europe, and both names work well across our cultures and sound good with our last name. However, they have very different vibes.
One is shorter, which gives it a more modern feel. The other is longer, and that’s something I’m a bit hesitant about because I feel like we’d end up using a nickname all the time. That said, I really like the nickname Rosie, but in general I’m not a fan of giving a child a long name if everyone is only ever going to use the shortened version.
At first, we were considering Rosalia, since it feels like a middle ground between the two. However, we’ve run into an issue with the pronunciation. We’ve noticed that people pronounce it in many different ways, which could become frustrating over time. Even my partner and I are used to different pronunciations of the name, so we feel that it could end up being more trouble than it’s worth.
My partner and I are trying to choose a middle name for our daughter. Her first name will be Rosalina, and our last name is Spanish. I’d like the middle name to be fairly short since the first name is already a bit long.
At the moment, our top three choices are:

Lila, Aurelia, and Rosalina (or Rosalia) are the names that both my partner and I love. However, we can’t decide which one to choose. We will definitely choose a middle name as well, but the first name is the most important to us, and we want to be 100% sure about our choice.
