When are ketones too high?

My ketones got to 8 mmol/L on day 5 of my water fast. Glucose about 65.

At what levels should someone decide to stop the fast? Or have a small strategic snack to keep them under control?

I'm on sglt2 inhibitor (empagliflozin) which specifically warn against euglycemic ketoacidosis at ketones over 3.0 with low or normal glucose.

I stop the medication before any therapeutic fasting but any research I do still warn against letting ketones go too high, especially over 8-10. Thoughts?
