Is it normal for new accounts to be shadow banned?
Hi all, I recently registered to itch to publish a small game I made
I was able to upload the game just fine but I've gotten absolutely zero views on it so far outside of my own + couple of friends (since I sent them the link directly), it didn't appear in the recently released tab and currently does not show up in search results
Besides that, I also can't seem to post any comment or rating, no matter what I write in them, because my account is apparently flagged for suspicious activity and any post needs moderator approval (none got approved so far)
I've received no warning from itch or prompt to verify my account or something, just the usual mail verification which I obviously did
I wrote to support yesterday, but got no response so far. I saw more than a few threads online of people with the same issue but I couldn't find any clear solution
Any clue on what I might need to do?
