I placed an order a couple of weeks ago and it's been sitting in "Confirmed" status ever since. Is this normal? I purchased the Swallowtail when it came out a and it shipped in less than a week. Should I ask for a refund?
What was supposed to be a quick project, turned into a two month monster, all because I decided I wanted to give it a try to painting the inner frame.
The bust itself is really nice looking, specially with the leds on and I really like it can move and cycle eye colors between green and red. What I didn't enjoy was the build process. The fitting is pretty good for a third party, very few pegs needed adjustment, however, wiring the leds was awful. It's not really that complicated, but the instructions don't help at all, I had to watch a couple of reviews in youtube just to try to understand how everything was supposed to go, and even then I was still able to mix things up a few times and ended having to disassembly and adjust the wires quite a few times.
Anyways, it's pretty nice and affordable model kit, you get not only a huge bust as tall as a PG, it also has leds, movement and water decals. Pretty nice deal.
