Anticapitalist rant.

While preparing for rent’s due date, I wanted to rant.

My household pays $18k annually. Putting a number to it reminds me how shitty our housing system is, because my rent is lower than so many others. I don’t think my landlord is worth $18k a year, and he genuinely not a bad individual. Categorically though, ALLAB (all land lords are bastards).

With an extra $18k per year, I could have hired people to maintain our house, initial cleanings, and cosmetics, and still have $8k to spare. It’s even worse after years in the same place, as most fixes are single expense.

All in all, what would you do with a year’s worth of rent if you didn’t have to pay a bank or landlord? Bonus question, do you think any landlord is worth that price?

What’s your favorite battle?

I just did the Nameless Isle fight where you use the black mirror in Sallow’s lair to convince Forktongue to fight Wordless.

I love this fight! Does anyone else have a fight they look foreword to every play through?

AntiZionism vs AntiSemitism: How do we ensure our hatred of Israel doesn’t attract actual Nazis.

I hate Israel. I hate imperialism. I hate Britain for its multi hundred year imperialist projects, I hate the USA it’s imperialism and it’s continuation of systematic slavery. I do not, however, hate Jewish people.

Working class people, including Jewish people, Black people, Central and South Americans, Chinese people, Ethiopian people, and any others struggling agains the global financial interests, are all on the same team. We fight together against billionaires, against religious control, and against racial supremacy on all its forms.

I am posting this to urge people in this sun to be aware that leftism isn’t a movement or ideology based solely on hating Israel and Zionism. Leftism comes from the belief that all people should be treated equally, and that the interest of the wealthy and powerful are directly opposed to everyone else’s access to health, safety, and well being.

We must insure that our frustrations at injustice don’t make us vulnerable to bad actors and infiltrating Nazis. Please make sure that your rage and pain are directed at the appropriate enemies, the global epstein class, and not at one of their various scapegoats.

What role has Britain played in the history of Israel and Palestine?

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/sep/21/what-role-has-britain-played-in-the-history-of-israel-and-palestine

As we continue to see the evils perpetrated by Israel in Lebanon and Palestine, I’d like to ensure we remember the part Britain and its interest played in creating this genocidal ethnostate.

I urge everyone to remember that Israel sucks BECAUSE Britain has been a global terror organization for centuries before the USA entered the conversation.

Abortion Rights and the Struggle For Socialism

https://communistusa.org/abortion-rights-and-the-struggle-for-socialism/

During our fight for global liberation, I often forget to account for the unique challenges faced by women in the movement from right wingers, liberals, fascists, and even at times leftist.

The global movement for equality includes women as well, and will require that we amplify women’s voices, as well as prisoners, supporters of nature, and the downtrodden people of Palestine. Justice for all is justice for ALL. Out of many struggles, one war, class war.

Contemporary Slavery: The Not-So-Secret Practice of Forced Labor Inside U.S. Prisons

https://www.prisonlegalnews.org/news/2024/jun/1/contemporary-slavery-not-so-secret-practice-forced-labor-inside-us-prisons/

As we discuss global liberation, I think it’s important that Americans especially acknowledge that slavery was never abolished on our soil. Systematic slavery is one factor ensuring that American workers and global workers alike have artificially lower wages. Liberation for criminals is liberation for all, because if anyone can lose their rights to humanity, everyone can.

ICE and it’s illegal detentions of “immigrants” without due process, is a direct consequence of Lincoln not ending slavery.

Does anyone do themed runs?

I love DOS2 and have played through it a ton.

Currently, I’m running a Jedi type build. DOS2. To try to speed to my point, I’ve spent an embarrassingly long time building this framework and wanted to share a snippet to see if anyone else has gotten this in depth.

So, form 1 lightsaber combat is shi cho. It’s developed for battlefields. So, I’ve used the ability “whirlwind” to symbolize the form, and the talent “opportunist” to symbolize the mastery of shi cho.

Form 2 is makashi, developed to counter shi cho. Known for footwork, disarming opponents. So, crippling strike is the makashi strike, and mastery of the footwork is symbolized as the talent “duck duck goose”. It counters the opportunist talent from shi cho, as the lore states.

I did that for all 7 basic forms, forbidden forms, training paths for counselor, sentinel, Sith, and guardian.

Has anyone else gotten a bit…overzealous?
