Chewing on pillows and comforters
Hi all. This has been a new development. Started maybe a few weeks ago. At night when we are getting ready for bed, our little guy would chew on pillow corners and comforters. Specifically our bed. He doesn't chew on couch pillows or our kid's pillows.
I read that this could be from lack of enrichment. True, he doesn't go out as much now, but he also doesn't like to walk in the morning. He rarely wants to play or train at home until mom comes home from work. As the B parent I am confused.
He does go to the park at night to sniff and walk. When he gets home he wants to play after dinner. So we do our best to get him tired, but he stops his interest when the kiddo goes to sleep and he's locked out of the bedroom (mom sleeps with kiddo in her room). When Mom finally comes out of the kid's room at like 10pm, he is up and excited, but we are now getting ready for bed. While this is happening, he'll probably whine for a bit to play. So we play to get the last of his wiggles out, but then when he hops on the bed, he starts to chew on pillows and blankets.
Not sure what to do about this.
Also it's his birthday so happy birthday Oyster!
