Don't sign up for multi-month, it's useless

I'm a paying member (male). The first few weeks to a month were actually pretty great. I had many matches and went on a number of dates. Then after that initial period, basically 0 matches-- completely dry. The same type of people that matched previously no longer matches. The only people that I get any likes from are completely not my type (and they can tell my type based on who I matched with!).

What I'm guessing is that they prioritize new paying members early on (maybe to maximize positive reviews, minimize complaints and refunds, etc), then basically forget about them. Your likes may not even see you after that.

Btw, this is not just CMB, same thing is happening on another popular app that I'm on. Very annoying.

EDIT: Since they won't let me post over there, Hinge is the other offender. Same thing, successful early on, completely dry after the first few weeks. And boo to you Hinge for censoring.

Why are t-shirts crap quality nowadays?

I don't get how after 1 wash and dry cycle, my t-shirts would just get all shriveled up or starts pilling. For comparison, I have 2 v-necks from like the early 2000s that I keep washing and drying and they still look totally presentable. Heck, even the two t-shirts I bought from a 3rd-world country (albeit a more "expensive" store there by their standard), keep shape just fine and get better with each wash/dry cycle.

So maddening. I have to line dry all my t-shirts, which feels super odd. But otherwise, 1 cycle and I can only use them to sleep at home.

Apple Watch overcounts distance?

I recently switched from a Fitbit to Apple Watch. I'm one of those odd balls with an iPhone and a Mac, but had a Fitbit and uses Google Login. The Fitbit was a long-carryover from my Android days.

Anyhow, I'm using my Apple Watch, and I'm noticing that it overcounts my distance. When I'm on the treadmill, it counts 1 mile when the treadmill says around 0.7 miles give or take. My Fitbit was much closer. And I trust a Cybex treadmill over any wearable. I thought maybe I was on km setting, but no, it's reporting miles.

Anyone else noticing this?
