sleep study - did i dodge a hydrogen bomb?

Just received my sleep results. Did i dodge a bomb? Apparently my AHI while supine (on my back) is 50 but laterally (on side) is under 4. Does this mean I need positional sleep modalities that get me to sleep entirely on my side? Or do i infact need a CPAP? have i literally dodged a hydrogen bomb here - in other words, can i FIX this w/o a CPAP? Thank you for intelligent comments.

Second Spravato Treatment : a blessing

I almost quit after my first treatment. The experience was so intense that I had a clinical panic attack. I thought I was going to die from a stroke or heart attack-my chest was tight-it was a nightmare.

I spent some time reflecting and after encouragement from providers and loved ones, I decided to see it through.

This time I brought a sleep mask, a calming playlist and the session went very well. No panic, but 1/4 mg Xanax shortly before certainly helped and I gave myself over to the experience. I was eating dinner in heaven with my late mother and uncle. My depressive symptoms were lessened after this session. I am now committed and hopeful.

home test versus sleep study

If i can get my primary MD to prescribe me a home test, is that sufficient to diagnose the severity of my sleep apnea? In other words, can i bypass a sleep study? Thank you.
