• Actually use it. This is the one rule. I prune inactive accounts periodically — sign up and never watch anything, and you'll get removed to free the slot for someone who will. Watch occasionally and you're golden.

• Your own Plex account (I just need the email tied to it)

• Don't share your login around

• Be cool — it's free
