Find 4 star wolves

Hello!

As of right now I'm currently attempting to get the NPC coats Stormy, Buffy, Chocosnout, and Backfire by pairing kk x kk, and KK x Kk (or kk). However I noticed that when I'm trying to find a 4 star kk mate as a gray wolf myself, I'm unable to find one and I do not recall this being an issue in the past. I've been searching and map hopping for over five hours now. I'm keen on trying to getting a 4 star kk mate to maximize litter size because I play with all pup RNG's off. Have they altered the game so you cannot find a 4 star kk wolf with a kk player wolf?

Genetics Confusion, you can get all kk puppies with two Kk adults?

Hi, I apologize if this question has been asked before but in my game both my wolf and my mate are Kk, however the pups (there's just 2 of them) are kk. I was under the impression that if both parents were Kk then the puppies would most certainly be Kk. I've never seen something like this. Is it rare? Has this happened to anyone? I will say I've been trying for smaller litters so I have all Pup RNG deaths (including sickness) turned off and purposely went for a 1 star mate. I'm kind of shocked but far from mad.
