Auto Cannons, how loud?

I was looking at a Hunchback, I think. It has that huge AC/20. How frigging loud is that thing? Do Hunchback pilots go deaf after a few missions? I seriously imagine that cannon going off, and it sounds like a Battleship firing its main gun. The hunchback torso spinning around like a top from the force. Curving the AC/20 shell like the guy in _Wanted_ could bullets. And really, shouldn't the AC/20 have a long barrel? Frigging howitzer size? In real life, if I pulled the trigger on an AC/20, I would probably end up laying on the ground, deaf, and with a concussion. Double vision, cant breathe, neck twisted and cracked. The seat harness up my arse cheeks like a G-string.

What Mechs are being produced?

So, if you are a new merc. Going for the easiest available. You are not that interested but you have to start a Mech squad and go to war. Dont want to hire a Merc Unit, afraid that they will turn on him. Make up what ever story you want. But as a part of starting your Squad, you dont want to deal with used, You want NEW. FRESH. MECHS. Which units are still being built? All the stories and blurbs, tak about the plant being leveled in the last succession war. Makes it sound like there arent any mech factories left. SO what mechs can you buy straight from the line? I assume Flea, Jenner. What else?

Has anyone created a weapon that needs multiple mechs to fire?

Was reading through the threads tonight. A Naval PPC generates 105 heat, which is more then a mech can handle. Could you, in some crazy dream, create a huge weapon, maybe a mech, that is just a huge weapon system. and then assistant mechs that run up, plug in, and provide heat and cooling? M ade specifically to get in a position to blast a and destroy a anti air emplacement? If any of you are old enough to remember, in the original Battlestar Galactica, there was one suicide mission where they snuck a force onto a frozen planet to sabotage and destroy a huge weapon that was capable of destroying the Galactica in one hit. Think of that scenario.

so a huge death mech, with a superweapon to wipe out a fortified base. One that was able to prevent them from taking over the planet. But how do you get the weapon on that planet? The anti air only attack things of a certain size or larger. so you can drop it in on a tiny dropship. but you get this super weapon on the planet. have it march up a valley at 2/3/0 with a dozen healpers to carry to up, and then provide power for multiple shots and heat sinks to keep it cool enough to fire .. which would lead to a centipede of mechs plugging into each other to fire a dozen shots from an ER naval ppc on the ground. Later they would redo mechs like the Awesome to have plugins and Assistant mechs can run in, plug in, and cool the Awesome or similar heat screwed mech can get back in the fight.

There are 2 legged mechs, and 4 legged mechs, are there 8 legged mechs? a Frigging Centipede of nastiness that is a sitting target due to its size, but has enough weapons to shatter a Mechs pilot soul if they are targetted by it?

Jacobson park. ANyone know what the heck is going on?

2 new pull off area, and one has traffic light pole arms. What are they doing? A new entrenace? Getting rid of the current drive in? One of the workers was talking to someone about a new rental dock being built for big boats.

What did they do across Ricmond road? building a pull off for big trucks? Or a spot of Starbucks coffee?

So I was playing a free game on my phone, and realized. Battletech was built before todays free games which are actually Pay to Win. Imagine playing Magic the Gathering with Battletech. Getting the lucky draw from a random pack. the shiny Gold Atlas that due to its lore, finest construction hero unit, gets an extra move point, extra armor, and an extra attack per round with no heat. And your opponet has a shiny Gold Flea that dodges all damage except for physical attacks. Then they pull out the Black alpha Urbanmech that deals 2 damage to a random mech each turn which may include itself. Then you play your silver border Archer that always hits targets in midrange, including mechs like the Flea. Your opponent plays orbital bmbardment on your Archer, and you counter with Command Unit ECM and cast a Black Hole Anti Air on the Archer and follow up with giving your Atlas a Laser Sabre that strike up to 3 hexes away.. And then your opponent plays Force of Nature which smashes your Archer into a garbage can. And an Elven Archer with First strike and Enrage for +3 /+3 that ends your Archer somehow by passing your anti Air defense. Oh holy shit, I just found something to entertain myself with....
