Please help a little lady decide on a drill for bricks.
Hi all! I am trying to decide on what drill to buy primarily for home DIY drilling into bricks. Now, keeping in mind that I’m a small framed female in her 40’s with not a lot of strength or drill skill proficiency. I basically want to be able to install things into brick work. I am tossing up between these three models based on limited experience. I like that there is a corded SDS model because the internet told me that an SDS drill that is corded is a good thing?! But there are limited features on it from what I can tell (can’t put it into reverse etc). I’d also have to go out and buy SDS specific bits too. The brushless high torque hammer drill has that funky handle - which would be good for my limited brute strength right? Is that basically one step up from the basic compact hammer drill? This is like learning a new language. I don’t want to spend much more than these models either as it’s just for occasional home use. But I do want one that isn’t going to make my back sore because it’s crap for brickwork either (or for a user who’s not a bulked up tradie!). Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
