Model: XBR 49X800E I don't know what it is called, but any time on screen menus or subtitles come up, the screen goes more grey and loses vividness. I have been messing with settings and tried a couple for "Advm Contrast Enhancer" suggested on Sony forums but no luck.

Infuriates me when playing my computer on my TV or watching shows/movies with subtitles

I know it's an 8mm and all Hi8 and Digital8 are compatible, but idk if it would do as good of a job cleaning if I use it in a Hi8/Digital8 camcorder
