The SSA reps have gotten so so bad under the current administration. One just told me my benefits had a “miscellaneous suspension” and I called again and confirmed that that was inaccurate. There’s absolutely no oversight. Reps cannot figure out any information, I was trying to call about my backpay and no one can tell me anything. Different reps seem to see completely different info. And the line that once went to the local office that tended to be more helpful now goes to whatever office picks up the call
