AI Creator Stuck at 300 Views on TikTok Despite High Quality & 1.44M Search Impressions Bug? Moving to Instagram Reels

Hey everyone,

I need some advice or perspective from fellow AI creators.

I’ve been creating an original AI-generated film series called "New Zero". The content is 100% created by me, with hyper-realistic visuals, clean high-quality voiceovers (French/English), and good pacing. No recycled content, no copyright strikes, and my account is fully eligible for monetization.

However, I've been facing two major issues on TikTok for months:

The 300-400 Views Cap: My videos get pushed to around 20-30 views initially, then top out at 300-400 views and completely freeze—even with strong hooks and positive initial engagement.

Analytics Mismatch: Every week, TikTok sends me a Search Insights newsletter claiming I have 1.44M views/impressions, but my actual 365-day Analytics dashboard only shows ~958K video plays (and less than 100 plays in recent weeks). TikTok support has never responded in almost 2 years.

It seems like TikTok’s automated safety filters are shadowbanning or heavily suppressing hyper-realistic AI content (flagging it as mass-produced or deepfake-adjacent), regardless of original editing or quality.

Recently, I tried posting short clips on Instagram Reels without much effort, and the organic reach, likes, and genuine engagement were drastically higher right away.

I’m pretty exhausted with TikTok’s algorithm wall and am planning to shift my main focus entirely to Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Has anyone else experienced this massive gap between Search Impressions and For You Page (FYP) distribution for high-effort AI content? Is moving to Instagram the right call here?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

TikTok stopped pushing my videos… Should I move my content to Instagram instead? Is Instagram better for creators now?

TikTok distribution has changed for creators — is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi everyone, I want to share my recent experience with TikTok and ask if other creators are seeing the same thing.

My account has no violations and no community guideline issues. I create original cinematic content and spend a lot of time producing my videos.

In the past, I was creating short videos (around 10–15 seconds), and some of them became viral. However, I don't want to depend only on short videos. My goal is to create longer cinematic videos, around one minute or more, because I believe this type of content can create a stronger connection with viewers.

The problem is that TikTok does not seem to distribute my longer videos properly. When I upload a new video, TikTok appears to test it with a very small audience first, sometimes only 20–50 people in the first hours.

Even when there is good engagement, viewers watch the full video, and the reactions are positive, TikTok does not seem to send it to a second or third wave of viewers. The video simply stops growing and becomes almost frozen.

After 24 hours, some videos only reach around 150–200 views, then they wait until I publish a new video. When I post something new, older videos sometimes start moving again, but very slowly.

Now my analytics show that all my videos together are only gaining around 10–50 views maximum in a 24-hour period, which is very different from before.

I have more than 15k followers, but it feels like my new videos are no longer being shown to my audience as they used to be.

I would like to know:

- Are other creators experiencing the same thing?

- Are your videos also being tested with a very small audience and then stopped?

- Are longer videos becoming harder to distribute compared to very short videos?

I would appreciate hearing your experiences. Maybe this is not only happening to my account, but to many creators.

TikTok stopped pushing my videos after testing them with only 20–50 people. Is this happening to others?

Hi everyone, I want to share my recent experience with TikTok and ask if other creators are experiencing the same thing.

My account has no violations, no community guideline issues, and I do not create inappropriate content. My content is simply a cinematic film series that I create and share with my audience.

For a long time, my account was doing well, but recently I noticed a big change in distribution and views.

Now, when I upload a new video, TikTok seems to test it with a very small audience first (around 20, 30, sometimes 50 people) within the first hour or even less. After that, the distribution often stops completely, even if there is engagement.

Another thing I noticed: after 24 hours, the video sometimes reaches a small number of views (around 100 to 300 maximum), then it completely stops for a while. When I upload a new video, some of my previous videos start moving again a little, but then everything slows down again.

I also noticed that TikTok does not seem to push my new videos to my existing followers anymore. It mostly tests them with new random viewers who may not even be interested in my type of content. This affects engagement because my followers are the people who already know and follow my series.

This makes me wonder if my account is affected by something similar to a shadowban, or if TikTok has changed the way it distributes content.

I would like to ask:

Is TikTok doing the same thing with your accounts?

Are your videos also tested with a very small number of viewers and then stopped?

Are your followers no longer receiving your new posts like before?

Do you notice that some videos are strongly pushed while others are almost hidden?

Sometimes it feels like TikTok decides which videos it likes and gives them strong distribution, while other videos are pushed aside and almost disappear. I would like to know if other creators have noticed this change.

I have more than 15k followers, but some new videos are now reaching only a very small number of people at the beginning, which was not happening before.

I would really appreciate hearing your experiences.
