Did a slight kitbash just to give it some Blood Angel style

It was only after taking a couple of pictures I realised I missed the scroll on the tilt shield, I'll sort it when I do the purity seals on my hellblasters.

I repainted the volkite 3 times, still not 100% satisfied but it got better each time.

Really pleased with this, it was a joy to paint. Got a jump pack captain and a lieutenant primed and ready to go for my next project

I've really been enjoying painting Blood Angels recently, theres something about painting Space Marines that scratches that hobby itch. I've mainly been painting Necrons and Tomb Kings the last couple of years so it's a nice change

Really pleased with these. Gave me a good opportunity to dial in my BA painting recipe in preparation for a full 11th edition army.

I finished him a couple of days ago. I decided I didn't want to paint full metallic gold, nor am I any good at NMM so I went for a middle ground and got a faux NMM effect using contrast paints. I quite like how it turned out, at some point I'll get some sanguinary guard to join him.

Having recently read/listened to The Devastation of Baal and then the reveal for 11th edition, it's got me hyped to start a Blood Angels army. I did a quick test colour scheme on this spare Marine, was just looking for something that was easy and would be repeatable.

I'm happy with how it turned out so I'm now making a start on some terminators
