Even angels need some fire support.

I recently got into the hobby on my 14th birthday a little under a year ago. I accidentally, while cutting firewood split my thumb in half. Not my painting brush thumb, but still bad. The doctors told me I may never have complete function again. Painting has always been one of my favorite parts of the hobby. Is it over for me?

I've been think about a Firstorm and Conclave list. Flamers will get +1 S and potentially -1 AP. Units can get assault should they needed it. Librarians will give the squads ++4 and SPs will give them +++5. Flamers and Libs will be ignoring cover. SP will make the squads slightly a threat in melee.

Should the infantry get charged they can hop back in the repulsers. Fusillade will give the SVs massive kill potential against larger threats. Firestorm's Immolation Protocols strat can give devs wounds to the infernus marines or Baal predator.

The Baal predator can help watch mid or home, or give more overwatch potential while scoring.

Repulsers to move the lads around and provide a little bit of heavier shooting or scoring if needed.

Infiltrators, Scouts, and JPI to help score.

My successor chapter still doesn’t have a name.
Just finished this box and wonder what to do next. I’ve burned out in the past and this means I’m buying one box, finishing it and then I’ll buy the next. I will not survive 5 more terminators for quite some time - so it has to be something different. I still have a chaplain in terminator armour that’s halfway done in the works.
I don’t care about viability at the moment and only look for cool.
Centurions look fun as do inceptors.
I know I should probably buy the combat patrol but basic marines are so mind numbingly boring to paint :D

WIP Mephiston. I’m still debating what to do with the power sword. I’ve narrowed it down to either using contrast paints on the nodes or breaking out the airbrush, masking the model and going all out (which I’ve never done before.

Finished my first Blood Angel from the new Armageddon box.

My goal with this project is to recreate the official box art as closely as I can and use it as an opportunity to practice the ‘Eavy Metal style.

Hopefully I can keep this quality across the whole squad.

My first piece of artwork and only the second drawing I’ve done in colour. I’m not necessarily a fan of the Blood Angels and their heirs, but a close friend of mine is, and it was for him that I wanted to give it a go.

tried to use fleshshade to glaze them but it looks more like they got lightly covered in poop
