I'm very new to deep research on this case so forgive me. Wasn't Johnny's sister's boyfriend staying with the Gosch family at the time? If so, was the boyfriend ever investigated?

I just finished Master Thieves by Stephen Kurkjian, who was part of the Spotlight team on the Boston Globe. This is a short read that's about a specific subject, but the book is very mob adjacent. This book has given me more interest about art theft, and there's a lot of good information about the Boston Mafia and their connection to Philadelphia as well.
This book wasn't my cup of tea though as the author really writes more to the side and doesn't go in chronological order, so the narrative was frustrating. Also, Lewis Royce, a Boston art thief who was the main protagonist wasn't very likable. I won't spoil the ending but the author gets into why he thinks the paintings were stolen, so other people may enjoy the book more than I did. I'd like to read more about this case, as the priceless paintings are still missing. 7/10.
