Should I get this used Lenovo Legion 7 for my first serious gaming laptop?

I’m wondering if I should get this laptop since it’s gonna be my first serious gaming laptop. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Legion 7 lineup, but I just wanted to make sure this is still a good buy considering it’s used.
Specs:
Lenovo Legion 7 16”
165Hz QHD+ display
Ryzen 9 5900HX
RTX 3080
32GB RAM
2TB SSD
Price: $1,169.99
I mainly want something powerful that’ll last me a while for gaming, school, and general use. I know it’s an older model, but the specs still seem really strong to me, especially the 3080.
Would you guys say this is worth it in 2026 for the price, or should I look for something newer instead? Also anything specific I should check since it’s used?
