Need help deciding which monitor I should get.

I’m stuck in between two monitors. I have a 3060ti and a ryzen 5 3600.

One is a 1080p 240hz monitor and the other is a 1440p 300hz monitor. I play mainly competitive shooters on competitive settings for fps.

I don’t know if I should save the money and buy 1080p or get the 1440 p and play 1080p on it but take advantage of the extra hz. Also the 1440p would give me room to upgrade my pc in the future without having to worry about buying a new monitor aswell.

But need suggestions on what I should do

Any recommendations for a good 240hz monitor?

I’m running a 3060ti and a ryzen 5 3600.
I play competitive games in competitive setttings to boost out a lot of fps. And I see in games like apex I can have more but my current monitors refresh rate is capped at 165. I play on 1080p as I don’t know how well my computer can run 1440p. Would like to hear good competitive monitor recommendations and if I should buy a 1440 p monitor and just run it at 1080p. Don’t want a crazy expensive monitor but my range can go up to about $200-$250.

How does sizing work ?

I wear a Nike and other brand size 9.5 when I got a golden goose super stars I ended up getting a size 40. 42 and 41 was too big. So I’m just wondering if naturally you need to size down, cause I am going to get another pair soon.
