1)She lied, cheated and stole from friends and family to give the appearance of being successful, wealthy and privileged.
(I can kind of understand this. She was probably extremely desperate to escape her past life. Her father was an alcoholic that went to prison and her mother was a compulsive gambler. She had very little financial or emotional security. As a teenager…She was probably jealous of classmates with money and a stable home life.)

2. She murdered her husband.
   (Again,although I don’t agree with her actions, I can understand her logic. She was chasing the all mighty dollar. Her identity was based on being successful and wealthy. She did whatever it took to maintain that image.)

3. She wrote a book on grief and actively promoted herself on morning shows and podcasts.
   (I don’t understand this. If I had murdered my husband… I would do everything in my power to lay low and fly under the radar.)

4. She wrote a letter to the police explaining her actions when she knew she was under investigation.
   ( Surely she knew they would take things out of context and use her letter against her. But she simply HAD to control the narrative.)

5. She called the medical examiner and taped their conversation.
   (Kouri is NOT someone that allows the process to happen. She jumped in and took control immediately. Even though it made her look guilty.)

6. Walk the Dog Letter
   (Kouri has more nerve than me. She actually thought she would get away with witness tampering. Once again…controlling the narrative.)

7. Her mother anonymously sent a copy of Kouri’s book to the police.
   Neither Kouri or her mom are particularly smart.

8. She used a burner phone and threatened Amy.
   This shows a deep rage and an inability to control her emotions. She simply HAD to have the last word.

9. She allowed most of their family pets to die.
   Is she sadistic? Does she actually enjoy causing pain?

10. Before her trial…She gave a phone interview while in jail and she proclaimed her innocence. She vowed to expose the corrupt people that put her in jail.
    (Once again…did she really think this would help her? She has more nerve than me.)

11. She tried to have charges brought against Eric‘s father for firearms. She called child and protective services on Katie and reported Amy for marijuana. I believe she also reported the prosecutor to the FBI.
    (She’s vindictive beyond words. All of those things make her look more guilty.)

12. At sentencing…her childish allocation…she simply WILL NOT shut up and stop with her foolish behavior.

This is my question… What is wrong with Kouri?

Was she extremely scarred by her past?
Is she a psychopath?
Is she a narcissist?
Is she sadistic?

Kouri makes Jodi Arias look like a saint.

I watch a lot of true crime content and I’ve never seen anyone like her.
Perhaps Diane Downs or Celeste Beard.
