"Id, Ego, Superego & Burns LTD" - by Rats of Unusual Size

ROUS were a punk band out of Flint, MI, who I think moved to the lower East Side in NY a little later. Leaf singer Jim Fourniadis is also a pretty prolific sound engineer and producer I think, in addition to running a lot of independent theater as well. I've got a couple of their albums, and they are always a good time

I put this on for the first time a day or so ago, and keep coming back to it. Still consider myself pretty new to Jazz, but I really like this. Frenetic sounding at first, but it tightens and expands the whole way through.

"Live in Munich" - Thad Jones and Mel Lewis. Recorded in 1976, released in 1977, this is an American A&M release.

So far, my favorite is "A' That's Freedom", but I like the whole album.
