This fanbase
I've witnessed with a lot of artists where they begin their career and they have confidence, fans love it and continue to grow. However they tend to grow too much where you get these "fans" telling the artist how to drop music and what to perform and how this album should be constructed. I don't understand y'all at all. It puts that much fear in the artist where it takes a long time to recieve music because they get constant whiplash on the quality of current music. Sometimes the final result is worse because of the fanbase, all because the artists doubt their direction cuz they hear this or that.
I'm a new lucy fan (discovered through unmusique last year) and I didn't wanna join the reddit for this specific reason, its all bitching and no one is ever happy. I saw a post about a fan complaining about alleged "termination of past projects." When did he ever say that?? I just saw they said they'd eventually might wanna do FDLV as a full album one day?? And I think this fanbase forgets something about Lucy is that they always switch up the sound per project. If 'C' doesn't sound like the one for you, boohoo wait for the next one. And lucy might say something that might not happen, is it the end of the world they shared ideas with the fanbase?
This fanbase forgets to trust the artists creative direction, I'm still yet to hear a complaint about a project by Lucy. I'm not tryna glaze but he is genuinely one of the greatest artists imo. I feel like the lack of the trust from this community to Lucy is atrocious as of recent. Not tryna act like an OG lucy fan cuz I'm far from that but I have a feeling its from you new fans not seeing the vision.
Also not even tryna defend 'C' itself, its the fans complaining and not trusting the process (although i am excited for C). Quite the complaining and enjoy the ride
