Does anyone know how Lucy managed to get his bass and drums to sound so like distorted and loud and roomy and full on songs like ouija or 2010JB? Any advise on how to get a similar smeared yet clean sound?

i would even say Vanille as a whole carries a lot of influence from velocity design comfort. amazing pieces of work

ik I'm straight waffling rn (it's 3 am don't blame me) but I've just been thinking abt it and I can at least kinda tie some of the lyrics to their bond in game

the first two verses I haven't tied to anything so I'm skipping them

"In everything I do, you follow me" I see it as kris and noelle constantly reflecting eachother if that makes sense? like you can't have kris without noelle. you only have half the character. same with noelle and kris, she's just not the same if they don't exist. both of them would lack a lot of their character without the other. like just peep their names; noelle comes from noël, aka christmas (also ties to her whole holiday theme), while kris comes from kristopher (aka christ bearer, christ like the one was born on CHRISTMAS). also all of the devil/angel symbolism

"Listen, you're in the field of hurt" would mean how they yearn for the past and for eachother and how it's hurting them. dwelling too much on the past making them dislike the present, pushing eachother away only to hurt themselves worse, that typa shit (idk if it even makes sense I'm just rambling)

"Listen, where would you build your worth if she's not here? He's not here" would be them trying to find happiness, them finding their worth without actually moving on from the past. it could be read as "she's not here" referring to noelle and "he's not here" referring to kris (tho it's a bit shady cause kris is they/them), or it could refer to dess and asriel respectively, and how much both of them meant to kris and noelle and how hard it is to move past them not being part of their life 24/7

"Listen, why do you pretend?" till the end of the chorus would be asking why they pretend like they don't need eachother (?). why they pretend that pushing eachother away and downplaying what their previous bond was would make anything better

the third verse I couldn't tie it to anything yet but who knows, maybe I figure it out tomorrow night
