This song as a whole is so creative and underrated. It’s like chief keef meets nickleback. I love it so much, but the flow he hits on this part is genuinely unreal and nothing like I’ve ever heard in the underground before. Lucy is always 10 steps ahead of the game. But man this flow deserves more love it’s so beautiful
The beat is fucking incredible, the mixing on the song is great too, it’s good quality but it also kinda has that unreleased lq feel too. I think this is nines most serious song in a while too, a lot of his recent releases sound like he’s having fun in the studio fucking around on the song, which is great and all if you like that but I love the approach he took on 4Real, he was really trynna put a masterpiece together. It encapsulates almost a WLRv1 typa of vibe, kinda like Skelton and Pop Bottles if yall are familiar with Carti leaks. I also love the cadence and deep voice on the “she gimme da mf head she like when it be bussin” it’s so catchy to me. The song as a whole just gives me a really nostalgic feel and I wish nine would make more songs like that. I feel like it’s a different vibe from all his other sample music, which tend to all have very similar flows and pacing. You can tell nine was in a flow state with a real vision for this song. I love nettspends music BAFK is amazing and TrapHouse 2016 is top 10 rage for me. But these raspy voice trap sound snippets have not been hitting for me. They’re just not special. Now yes technically it is a new sound for nettspend, but it’s almost 2027 why are we still doing this sound. I’m all for changing your sound but this just seems like he’s regressing artistically. Going from a very unique sound to a bland sound we’ve heard 10000 times, just cuz it’s a change of sound doesn’t mean it’s evolving. Same thing goes with Carti. Idk man I’m just not impressed with these buzzcut snippets like at all honestly. Pull Up was fye but that was a different sound. Idk I go nettspend for melodic artsy semi rage music, if I wanted to hear some real trap shit I would go to a million other artist
One of the hottest rappers in the game at the time collabed with one of the biggest music artist in general and it did nothing. That song didn’t move the needle at all for Netts career which is very surprising. I honestly think the Ken feature for Osamason did more than ybs feature. It really makes no sense considering it’s a pretty good song and has a MV. But damn i really thought that song would’ve changed the underground scene forever and boost nett to the mega mainstream but I don’t hear anyone talking about it, the streams aren’t that great either all things considered
The only time I’ve seen him was antagonizist tour and I thought he did great, I just would’ve liked to hear him sing atleast a few more lyrics. So for the ppl who saw him this tour and other shows prior, how have his performances racked up for you? Had he gotten better or what I’m curious
We had the WLR v2 sound for maybe less then a year, same with WLR v3 and we’ve been in this deep voice era since 2021, that is actually insanity to me. Now obviously Carti has made non deep voice songs within the past 5 years but it seems that the deep voice is the sound he’s prioritizing and trying to master. I’m not saying I don’t but it’s interesting how much potential Carti sees in this sound. I wonder why he’s kept this sound going for so long instead of the 5 other sounds he’s had before
It’s a good song but damn the chemistry they have together in their music is mind blowing. Genuinely a tragedy that egos got in the way of such beautiful music releasing. It’s def a good sign that Uzi was in two tracks on MUSIC but there’s no guarantee that we’ll ever get new shit again. I remember in a magazine interview Carti did in 2023 he said he would be talking about a lot of personal shit or something of that nature on this album and we didn’t see much of it if any at all. I really appreciate when Carti gets vulnerable on the mic, which is why I appreciate WLR a lot, I love to get some insights on what Cartis actually going through in his music. Hopefully we’ll see more of that on Baby Boi because I think we’re missing that in the scene rn. The flexing is cool but I wanna hear some shit from the heart
I hope Uzi goes all the way with whatever vision he had and doesn’t half ass or try to please the fans like he did with Pink Tape. I can’t lie the EP was a little disappointing because it sounded very generic. But yeah I just hope it’s something new and innovative and I hope Uzi is fully confident in his vision. That Emotions snippet he previewed before summer smash was insane, that would be a really cool direction. Also Rock Boy would be a great song to build an album around too

I love nett and it’s been great seeing his journey but I feel like people occupy the Rage scene better than him. That indie melodic sound he had for BAFK is still such an open lane for him and a lot of people would gravitate towards that better. Pull Up Pls is decent and I like ELC sorta but man Nett could be so much better rn if he wanted to. I love rage but nett is so much better when he’s melodic. I hope nett outgrows the underground cuz he has the talent but if keeps this up I think he’ll be ug forever

The underground has a wide variety of fans why wouldn’t you want EVERYONE to enjoy your music, cuz if your gay why tf would you wanna hear that shit. I think it would be a dumbass decision to not take it off the released version. Just saying some homophobic shit on your biggest single is crazy. The songs too good to have that as one of the first lines. Just makes me feel uncomfortable and i love the song.

I think Lone could potentially get bigger but I think Ken has hit his peak, I think he still wants his music to be consumed by mostly underground fans and I really don't see him trying to make more mainstream appealing songs. Plus I feel like the avg rap fan already knows both of them and if they wanted to listen they would've done it long ago. It Ken was gonna get anymore popular it would've been from Xperiment but it's not going crazy crazy streams wise like AGC. They are def very successful and surpassed most of their 2021 pears but I think they are going much farther

Vamp city is hard but every other song sounds the exact same, and the mixing is god awful on these songs, say I’m dickeating whatever. Ken hasn’t made a better album then AGC since it released. But like fr Ken is in the same pocket and cadence at all times it’s actually impressive how he can only think of one idea for every beat. He is genuinely washed
