What has your experience been with buying during hand me Doen events?

Personally, it was my first time shopping secondhand directly from them. I purchased a relatively inexpensive top but it came stained.

This shocked me because they state they don’t accept stained items but this was an obvious mark on the front of the shirt.

I emailed them and they gave me an option to return or reimbursement for dry cleaning with a detailed receipt. I chose to return bc I don’t want to go out of my way to dry clean with no guarantee it would come out. I might have tried hand washing but I don’t feel like I should have to. I’ve been waiting 4 days for them to send me a shipping label now.
