Is anyone able to tell me why so many dead crabs washed up on the beach? Is that normal? Not a local so no idea!

Ok BBQ Lords. As many of you will appreciate, I invested heavily into BBQ gear when the birth of my first child drove me into New Dad Crisis Panic mode.

Sadly, the fun, whilst tasty, was short lived due to my wife’s aversion to smoke, the unfortunate output of the journey to delicious meaty greatness.

Fortunately, i have now found a new place for my set up, which means the smoke does not intrude on wifey’s delicate domain.

My set up is:

- Weber 57cm master touch 5750

- Onlyfire bbq cooking grate system, charcoal basket, and pizza oven conversion kit (which I use to increase smoking area in the kettle with the cooking grate system)

- FireBoard 2 Drive

- Pit Viper fan

- Few other mods such as lava tape on all “leak” spots eg lid, additional thermometer on the “correct” side of the lid, etc

I am going to get my eye back in with some baby backs and a 2kg pork butt this weekend.

Please remind me, like you’re talking to an imbecile (you probably are), how the hell I get the perfect end result. I’ve completely forgotten how to smoke and how to use all my fancy overpriced paraphernalia!
