Does anyone have photos or can describe the inside of a rural Texan gas station between 2005-2012?

Okay so I know this is very hyper specific and this might not be the right subreddit to ask this in. I’m doing a drawing (long story) of two people in a rural Texan convenience store in the year 2008-ish. Tad bit of a problem. I have never been to Texas. By ‘rural’ I mean a small town big enough to have a school. (I personally did grow up in rural America but I grew up in a wildly different genre of it)

Fanart to practice my backgrounds

This drawing of Edward and Alphonse took like 8 hours and I am so tired but I wanted to practice drawing landscape and our boys Elric deserve the best (if yall have any tips or criticisms I’m all ears)
