The real reason why Hughes is universally beloved: he saw people for who they truly are
I think there’s a misconception about Hughes that what makes him such an attractive character is that he he’s a family man or that he’s always there for people and those are a great qualities. Don’t get me wrong. But I think that there’s a quality to use that runs deep deeper than those surface descriptors. And that quality comes to light in this moment when he looks at Envy and immediately knows. It’s the same quality that made him believe in Mustang from the very beginning when he was just a foot soldier. The same quality that makes him open his home to Winry and the boys who have no parents of their own. He sees past people’s exterior. He sees their potential. Their wounds. And he’s able to hold it all without draining himself, in fact his own sunshiney demeanor is contagious even to the most cynical. His existence threatens Envy’s power because he sees right through it in an instant it doesn’t work on him. And I think that’s why Envy had to be the one to kill him because Envy represents the absence of authenticity, and Hughes was authenticity in its purest form. And what would be more jealous of than that?
Which homonculus do you think represent better their sin
Because I see that they are really some of them that have no relation with the concept linked to them like warth whom I didn't see get angry at any point of the story for some reason
What episode is this image from?
It’s been awhile since I’ve watch the series and don’t remember this

Why is Olivire called "sir?"
I've noticed that throughout a majority of the briggs arc, Olivire is called "sir" by the other soldiers, like Miles. Shouldn't it be something female considering she's a woman? I am watching the dub but also the sub says the same so idk:P is it just a mistranslation or is there a reason that they say this, cause it's not the first time I've seen it in Japanese anime/games.
Roy Mustang Meets Domesticity
Mustang has lost his wallet and has to pay for his lodgings with housework. From the short story Roy's Vacation in the light novel Under the Faraway Sky. I'm reading novels out loud to my kid, and this panel makes me laugh every time I see it. He's trying so damn hard right now.
Hawkeye in casuals (OC)
I'm practicing some random stance to draw.

[Spoliers] what do you all think about this Ed's hairstyle?
It's in FMA(2003) where Ed and Al are going to Ishval and their vehicle gets damaged. I was literally laughing for 2mins lol.

Spent an hour searching for a full transcription of Trisha's Lullaby and found basically nothing :(
Hey everyone! So I ended up going on a rabbit hole recently trying to find a full orchestral transcription of Trisha's Lullaby/Lullaby of Resembool from the animes soundtracks, and after like a full hour of searching I found pretty much nothing. There were a LOT of piano solos and stuff, but nothing close to a full transcription of the actual piece with all of the instruments and everything. Honestly, I thought this was super suprising given how iconic the FMA:B soundtrack is and like how big/old the fandom is and stuff.
The thingy I'm asking though is that before I sit down and do all this myself, does anyone have or know of a full transcription for either of those songs? I'm just fine doing myself and I will share when I finish, but I'm just lazy enough that I'll ask reddit if they have anything first lol.
(I'll also add an audio link from a partial transcript I did for Lullaby of Resembool, sorry if it's not allowed!)

Fullmetal alchemist just started watching
I’m very sorry to old fans — I’ve been watching anime since 2020, but I only just got to FMA, and I’m in awe. An absolute masterpiece. Granted, I’m watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
I just wanted you guys to tell me how awesome it is, especially compared to other iconic anime. God, why does no one talk about it??
Also, should I watch Fullmetal Alchemist? Because I was super confused about what I should watch at the beginning.
Anyway, thanks for any responses. I just wanted people who also think it’s a masterpiece to come here and discuss it.
My Reddit its glitching sorry, posting this again
My reddit went crazy and did a weird thing after I tried to post this (I dunno if the last two post I did about the same thing got actually deleted or not, but anyways)
New FMA Makeship Plush Toys from a collaboration are on sale and I was planning getting Edward until I read its 16 cm 😭 I know this is a "me problem" I just love big, huggable plushies I wish it was bigger 💔 Im from MX and its quite expensive in mexican pesos. Im torn between the fact that its one in a kind exclusive plushie, and knowing it doesn't meet my "expectations" (not trying to sound petty, I just want a bigger huggable Ed 😭 )
