"A Great Husband" - Sig & Izumi Curtis Morning Studies
May this love find us all. i have plans to draw Sig holding his wife with more intent, he is so nurturing / caring / loves his wife so much it makes me heart explode.
Okay, I have a question for y'all.
How would you describe the voice of each homunculus In the full metal alchemist brotherhood English dub. I wanna know how you guys see the voices Of envy, lust, Gluttony, wrath, Pride, sloth or The two separate greeds?
Mortality and Redemption
I’m currently on Part 3 Episode 13 so avoid spoilers from then on. One thing that I’ve noticed that really annoyed me is the Elric’s brothers morality. I know it’s done thst way because it’s accurate for the situation and for their experience and all that stuff.
But it’s especially annoying me with Scar. So there completely aware of his backstory all that but they act as if he doesn’t deserve redemption. Yeah he killed state alchemists and Winrys parents but everyone in the military like Roy has killed thousands and there fully aware of that.
When they found out about Roy’s plan to make the country a parliament and for him and all the others responsible for the persecution. They said it wasn’t fair that they should be held responsible but they were just about to allow Scar be imprisoned and probably killed by Micheal Jackson .
And to add on to fact, they know that if Scar gets caught he’s probably gonna get killed knowing how corrupt the government is. So if government kills Scar that’s totally okay and they accept that as his punishment but if they see anyone else threaten murder that’s not okay. So if it’s anyone else besides Scar they can get redemption.
I just thought of something about Al
Until about 1/3 way through the story, Al can't do alchemy without a circle, which is a good portion of the boys's lives.
But we also know that there are alchemists that do alchemy by putting circles on their hands in some way.
Why didn't Ed and Al just put circles on the armor?
I mean maybe it was to make him a less likely target?
Or it requires more skill to memorize one specific alchemy time at combat level.
That's all I can think of.
This is less of a question and more of a shower thought in the form of a question.
Edit: I wrote this as a comment too, but:
Guys I know that the circles are very specific, I was just wondering why you wouldn't do something just in case even. I mean, like literally something that could at least be helpful in a pinch.
I get the explanation of them not expecting combat though, since before the story they weren't probably fighting all that much. Although they still train for combat like crazy so you'd think they got at least something.
But yeah I also get that he's pretty quick at them, although to that I have to say that they do make it apparent a few times that it still takes him some time to do it.
I get my stuff was worded like I only now got to that point in it, but I have read the manga twice, and watch it a quite bit. It's my favorite anime/manga, I genuinely have an autistic obsession. Which is why I even think about stuff like this in the first place. But I guess I'm moreso wondering why the boys never even make a thought about it even once in the plot.
How did they know to do this? - FMAB
How did that gold toothed doctor and Bradley know to use Hawkeye to manipulate/blackmail Mustang?
Bradley straight up said he knew Hawkeye was Mustang’s weakness and that’s why he changed her assignment to be his own personal assistant. Then later that doctor tried to force Mustang into human transmutation by threatening Hawkeye’s life and he was so sure it would work. The doctor could have gotten the order from Bradley, but even Bradley seemed to barely know Mustang. Was there a mole or was Mustang just really not subtle at all about loving her?

Struggling to Get Through Brotherhood
Hey y'all! So first off, im an anime noob: I've watched Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing, Pokémon (og series), Parasyte, Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, and My Hero Academia (thru season 4).
Im only on episode 10 of season one, so keep that in mind.
So im not well versed, but I absolutely LOVED Attack on Titan and feel like I've been chasing that high. Demon Slayer was good too.
I feel like FMA Brotherhood has a lot of the same attributes that cause me to ditch anime series like MHA. The characters are a bit annoying and emotionally over the top. There are so many times things are told instead of shown -- like i dont need a character to explain in painstaking detail what I just witnessed and can infer.
There are also so many episodes that just feel like filler.
Anyway, im definitely open for y'all to tell me why im wrong and to try to stick through it.
