I just got off the water on a light wind day in a Laser and was struggling with the outhaul line slipping in the pinch cleat. It just wouldn't stay in place.

The line is almost new, spec'd as the standard 5mm covered dyneema. I'll get to the store and pick up a replacement given it's now a 48 year old cleat, but if I want to go back on the water this afternoon and again before I can get a replacement, can I just file it a bit to make it sharper? Does anyone have experience with this?

I wanted to share a couple of changes that enhance what is mentioned in the dev blog.

The update has led to some map seed changes in the way the roads end up laid out, and some of the smaller monuments (like Oxum's) have moved around as a result. I noticed this because I'm playing on the same seed as last month, and while the major monuments and biomes have stayed the same, there have definitely been changes in the ring road and the location of some of the small monuments that spawn next to the road. I didn't see this mentioned in the devblog, but it really isn't much of a surprise given the addition of the power poles functionality and attention those got.

Also, the devs mentioned to take a look in the pit under the car lift in Oxum's. Yup. The loot down there can be much better than it used to be, and I'm seeing medium quality car parts dropping down there. Also a chance for a green crate.

The blue card room loot at power plant is much better, too, if you power up the plant enough to open the new room.

What else is new and worth mentioning that wasn't explicitly mentioned in the dev blog?
