I like my friend
So, me (22F) have had a guy online friend ( 22M )for few years ? We basically knew each other from the end of middle school and now we finished uni ( never met btw ). I realised recently that i always liked him, I had denial phases for sure, i was young and it was scary but now I'm really sure I like him because the idea of him leaving me for an actual girlfriend made me cry myself to sleep at 4am. I can barely hold myself together when he hangs out with friends and there are girls with them. We're both getting older and i don't know what to do, he never really showed an interest in me and never gave me any signal so I don't think he likes me. continuing this online friendship will hurt but so is walking away because he is important to me. What should I do 😖😞 leave or stay hoping it'll pass ?
