Bike idles fine when leaned over. Dies when upright.

EDIT:

FIXED THE ISSUE! ENDED UP BEING THE OIL SENSOR. UNPLUGGED IT AND HAVE HAD NO ISSUES AT ALL. THANKS EVERYONE!

Briggs and Stratton 10hp vanguard motor w/ Nikkei carb

Title says it all. When the bike is leaned over, it'll start and idle just fine.

As soon as I stand it up, it'll die.

Checked the carb, float, needle and cleaned them all up.

In my mind, this is 100% carb related issue, but not sure what else to check. If not a carb issue, what else could it be?

Picked up this beauty today and trying to figure out the part number for this. (Big hole in valve cover)

The valve cover was flipped to fit the frame so traditionally its on the same side as carb.. He said it was a PCV valve. Closest thing I could find was a breather tube. I saw a picture of a new B&S and saw a tube coming from this area to the carb. Question is do I just need a random tube connecting these points (circled in red) or does this breather tube have some sort of one way valve like a cars pcv?

Thanks yall!
