Movie Night Tomorrow (8 PM) Central Bangalore 🍿

A few of us are getting together for a movie night tomorrow at 8:00 PM in Central Bangalore, and we have room for up to 15 people.
The venue has a huge screen with comfortable recliners, so it’s a nice setup to just relax and enjoy the movie.
We’ll be watching one of these based on a quick poll:
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Prey
Just bring your own snacks and drinks, and you’re all set.
If you’d like to join, leave a comment or send me a DM. Once the 15 spots are filled, we’ll close the invites.

If you had ONE wish what would it be?

You get one realistic wish and then it’s gone forever.

What are you choosing?

And more importantly

Why that wish?

Let’s see what people actually want when they’re forced to choose just one thing.

👇 Drop your wish and the reason behind it.

One good connection can change everything. Maybe your future best friend is reading this right now. ❤️

Bangalore can be a strange city.

You can spend hours stuck in traffic, work in offices full of people, walk through crowded streets, and still feel like you don’t really know anyone.

A lot of us moved here chasing careers, studies, opportunities, or a fresh start. Somewhere along the way, making genuine connections became harder than we expected.

That’s why r/BangaloreConnection exists.

Not as another networking group. Not as a dating community. Just a place for people who want to meet other humans without the pressure, the filters, or the awkwardness.

Whether you’re looking for friends, people to explore the city with, someone to grab coffee with, gaming buddies, gym partners, or just a community that understands what life in Bangalore can feel like—you belong here.

We’re trying to build a space where nobody has to feel like they’re figuring this city out alone.

A special thanks to r/BangaloreMeetups for helping spread the word and supporting a growing community like ours. Communities grow because people choose to show up for each other, and that’s something worth appreciating.

So if you’ve been lurking, scrolling, or thinking, “I wish I had more people around me,” maybe this is your sign.

And if you’re looking for someone to rant to, yap about your day, share a random win, or just talk when life feels a little overwhelming, my DMs are always open.

Come say hi. Someone is probably looking for a friend like you too.

A bunch of strangers from Reddit are meeting at Church Street this weekend. Join us?

Bangalore feels a little less lonely when you have people to share it with ❤️☕

Hey Bangalore,

A few of us recently started r/BangaloreConnection because we realized that a lot of people in this city are looking for the same thing genuine human connection.

Not networking.
Not selling something.
Not a paid event.

Just people meeting people.

Whether you’re looking for friends, dating, people to explore the city with, or simply someone to talk to after a long week, you’re welcome.

To kick things off, we’re planning a casual meetup around Church Street this weekend.

No agenda. No pressure.

Just coffee, conversations, a walk around Church Street, and hopefully some new connections.

And if you’re someone who’s been having a rough time lately a breakup , loneliness, work stress, or life in general you’re welcome too. Sometimes it helps just being around people who get it.

To Everyone Who Somehow Found Their Way Here ❤️

Hey everyone! I'm u/nikhilissm, a founding moderator of r/BangaloreConnection.
Hey everyone,

I created this community with one simple goal: helping people connect.

Bangalore is an amazing city, but it can also feel surprisingly lonely. Many of us are far from home, busy with work, recovering from a breakup, trying to make new friends, or simply looking for people we can genuinely connect with.

That’s what this space is for.

Whether you’re looking for friends, dating, meetup buddies, people to explore the city with, or just a place where you can be yourself, you’re welcome here.

No paid meetups. No advertising. No hidden agenda.

Just real people and real conversations.

And if life has been a little heavy lately, that’s okay too. Feel free to vent, share your story, ask for advice, celebrate your wins, or simply talk about how your day went.

Sometimes all we need is someone who listens.

And on that note, if you’re going through something, feeling lonely, had a rough week, or recently got your heart broken in this Bangalore weather, my DMs are always open. ❤️

You don’t have to carry everything alone.

Welcome to BangaloreConnection.

Hopefully this community helps all of us find a few good people along the way.

Let’s make Bangalore feel a little less lonely, one connection at a time. ❤️‍🩹

If you’re single in Bangalore, don’t scroll past this 😅

Hey,

I’m Nikhil, 25, from Bangalore.

I work in the education space helping students with their college and career journeys. I also create content on YouTube around admissions and career guidance, and alongside that, I work as a Learning & Development Manager. On weekends, you’ll either find me DJing somewhere, trying out a new restaurant, going for a drive, or just spending time with friends.

Life has honestly been pretty good to me. I have a career I’m proud of, earn around ₹15 LPA, have amazing people around me, and I’m grateful for where I am at this stage of life.

But lately I’ve realized that no matter how busy life gets, it’s nice to have that one person. Someone you’re excited to text when something good happens. Someone who makes even the most ordinary day a little more interesting. Someone to share the random thoughts, stupid jokes, late-night food cravings, wins, losses, and everything in between.

I’m not looking for anything casual. I’m here because I’d genuinely like to find a meaningful long-term relationship with someone kind, emotionally mature, honest, and ready to build something real.

And if you’re reading this wondering whether you should send a message or not

Just do it 😌

Worst case, we have a good conversation.

Best case, we end up telling people years later that we met because one of us decided not to scroll past a random post on the internet.

If you’re from Bangalore, come say hi. I’d love to get to know you.

Single + bored in Bangalore tomorrow? Yeah this Chin Lung meetup was literally made for you 💀🍻

We’re planning a super chill Bangalore singles community meetup tomorrow at Chin Lung, MG Road 🍜🍺

Nothing too formal, nothing too forced.
Just a bunch of people sitting together, talking, laughing, vibing over food/drinks and hopefully making some genuine connections in this huge chaotic city 🥹✨

Plan is pretty simple:
• grab a table
• light music in the background
• random conversations
• roast each other’s food/drink choices
• maybe a post-meet walk around MG Road after ✨

This community has honestly become a really wholesome space for meeting new people without the weird dating app pressure 😭

Everyone in the community is genuinely very friendly and non-judgmental, so you really don’t have to worry about “fitting in” here 🫶

And honestly, even outside the meetup stuff if anyone ever just wants someone to talk to, rant about life, relationships, career stress, loneliness or literally anything my DMs are always open too 🥹

As of now the ratio is around 30:70 female to male, so would genuinely appreciate more women joining and balancing the vibe out too 🫶

And to the guys joining:
please don’t come expecting a Netflix dating show 💀
Just come chill, interact naturally, meet people and enjoy the evening.

Alsoooo introverts/socially awkward people are VERY welcome here 🥹
You absolutely do not need to be ultra extroverted to fit in.

If you’re interested in joining tomorrow’s meetup:
• send me a small intro about yourself in DMs
• I’ll personally share the details after that ✨

Would genuinely love meeting more amazing hoomans from Bangalore through this 🫶
